Nu poti niciodata avea prea multe varietati de piper in casa.
M-ai zdrobit.
Ma duc sa-mi inec amarul in piper.
Acum ai fata de mine si un piper vernil dat cu lotiune antirid.
E vre-o diferenta intre cele doua?

(deocamdata nu l-am folosit pe ala zbircitu', ca la micul dejun rar servesc boabe de piper
Nu cred sa fie vreo diferenta de gust.

Papparotti, asa cum anticipasem, o diferenta de gust nu e; doar de cosmetica faciala, cum bine spuneai.
am inceput prin a taia o bucata (500g) semi-inghetata din fileu de balena dupa metoda dexteriana - cea mai tare din parcare !!!

un truc pe care-l folosesc la tăiatul carnii nemăcelarite, gen muşchiulet sau antricot întreg: înainte de a tăia fripturile, bag carnea in congelator ca să se înţepenească un pic. după juma de oră şi în funcţie de marimea bucatii, incep să testez ochiometric şi prin pipăire cu deştiu. când carnea este putin ţeapana, se taie mult mai bine şi nu îţi mai fuge cuţitul pe unde nu te aştepţi. biensur că un cuţit cu lama lunga şi o tăietura dintr-o singura lovitură, fără dute-vino ca la fierăstrău, ajută şi ele la reducerea franjurilor.

am lasat carnea pe farfurie sa se dezghete (optional, poate fi pusa la marinat 30',) timp in care care am atacat un borcan de condimente uscate cumparat (cine e harnic ca Maya

intr-un mojar am pus 2 Lg amestec de condimente (boabe de piper negru, ceapa, usturoi, seminte de chili, arpagic - toate uscate) si am adaugat citeva boabe de piper verde zbircit si roz pitzi-bon-bon

iar apoi am intrat cu buldozerul peste ele (pardon, cu pistilu'!

am trecut marginile bucatilor de carne (deja dezghetate) prin amestecul de condimente

pina au inceput sa arate ca niste prajituri de cioco cu glazura de nuca macinata

dupa care, in tigaia-grill bine incinsa, le-am dat la fript 6' pe fiecare parte

le-am servit cu un gratin de cartofi, snap peas (o mazare dulce din Zimbabwe) si un sos bearnaise - pofta mare !

Va rog sa-mi scuzati "activismul" Offtopic , dar daca nu s-ar mai cumpara...
Nu vreau sa incep o polemica, stiu ce se intampla si in fermele de pasari, sau de mamifere domestice, si nu sunt ipocrit (cel putin asa sper), insa aceste animale fantastice, cu inteligenta superioara, cu puternice legaturi familiale si sociale, sunt pe cale de disparitie si cantecul lor e in primejdie sa nu se mai auda decat in inregistrari.

Dap, e o gluma la fel de buna ca si carnea de caprioara ce ai savurat-o acu' citeva zile, pare-mi-se.
Sa nu-mi spui ca a murit de batrinete si fara varsare de singe

Cu umorul care o caracterizeaza, ea insasi a cerut sa fie pusa pe un afis londonez ce o infatisa in rolul Anna Bolena (Anna Balena, s-au bucurat cei mari la suflet sa scrie) celebra butada: "It's not over until the fat lady sings"
Dar nu cotletele ei lirice le tavalim prin trei feluri de piperuri.

Eu am o problema cu macelarirea unei clase de animale aduse in pragul disparitiei, fenomen sustinut de cumparatori ce nu sunt pusi in fata unor probleme extreme de supravietuire. Vorbesc despre niste animale cu o inteligenta superioara, pe care atunci cand vom fi in stare sa o descifram, fereasca Domnul! , sa fim cuprinsi de remuscari.

Theory of Mind is a psychological ability that works like this: I know that I have my own mind with my own thoughts, beliefs and desires and consequently you must have your own mind with your own thoughts, beliefs and desires. Having a Theory of Mind is a powerful thing – it allows an animal to predict and manipulate the behavior of other animals, something at which humans are fantastically good. It also leads to advanced social emotions like empathy. So if an animal like a chimpanzee, elephant or dolphin can recognize itself in a mirror, this might mean that it is aware (or conscious) of itself. If it’s aware of itself, then it may be aware that it has its own thoughts, which means it might also be aware that other entities may also have their own thoughts: a Theory of Mind. Of course, it might not mean this it all – it could simply mean that the animal figured out some basic properties of mirrors without making any giant cognitive leaps. This is currently a topic of debate in the field of psychology. These experiments have provided important pieces of this puzzle. It is probably an important fact that all of the animals that have managed to perform this test so far; the great apes, dolphins, and now elephants – are all large-brained social animals; the most obvious candidates for benefiting from a Theory of Mind, and self-awareness.
